Candice Swanepoel for Prabal Gurung S/S '12

Photographed by: Daniel Jackson

This is by far my favorite campaign this season (yes, I dare say it's even better than Jil Sander's). I've never really been a fan of Candice Swanepoel, but she looks radiantly stunning in these shots. This is a new direction that Prabal Gurung is taking his brand and I must I admit I love it! Although I was awfully disappointed and dissatisfied with the S/S '12 collection, the campaign elevates it immensely. I can't take my eyes away from it!

Simone Nobili for Vogue Hommes International

Photography: Willy Vanderperre
This boy is having such a great season: Givenchy, D&G, Valentino, C.K., Z Zegna, Costume National, etc. He's doing really great in Milan; 2012 is going to be his year! He's definitely one of the new male faces to watch out for.

Givenchy Menswear Pre-Fall Is So Much Better Than Its Womenswear

Being that it is his first menswear Pre-Fall collection, Riccardo did a great job! Everything about this collection is impeccable! It is a nice contrast to the womenswear collection, which was excessively styled and had a bit of a trying to hard aesthetic. This collection, on the other hand, exemplifies what street-style is all about: cool, urban, and simple

Kirsten Dunst in Rodarte

While this three-piece ensemble might look atrocious on some people, Kirsten pulls it off immaculately. Pairing the outfit with a simple do and a touch of red on the lips, the simple and cool, yet sophisticated suit radiates in sui generisity.

And the Golden Globes are in..

Rooney Mara in Nina Ricci
Forget the Golden Globes, this girl's stylist deserves an award! I have not yet seen Rooney in anything distasteful. She looks absolutely radiating in this Nina Ricci dress. No need for accessories - this dress speaks for itself!

Piper Perabo in Theyskens' Theory
While this may be a simple dress, it's speaks volume (literally!) I do wish, however, that Piper had accessorized this look with red earrings to give the togs a bit of color. Nonetheless, this is by far one of my favorite looks of that night.

Dianna Agron in Giles
This dress fits her like a glove! Dianna looks stunning in this florid (and fiery) ensemble by Giles. The perfect up-do and red lipstick not only does the outfit justice, but it shows off Dianna's beautiful oval-shaped face and lush lips.

Tilda Swinton in Haider Ackermann
It wouldn't come as a surprise to say that Tilda admires Haider Ackermann immensely. She sure loves him and she sure looks good in his clothes. This two-piece dress curves at all the right places and contrasts flawlessly against Tilda's skin tone. The queen of edge sports an androgynous up-do, of which complements the dress immaculately.

Angelina Jolie in Atelier Versace
Last, but definitely not least, Angelina stuns in this gorgeous A.V. dress. The red lipstick and red clutch add as an appurtenance to the beautifully tailored gown. Not to mention, the mother of six has a smoking body!

Comme des Garçons Homme Plus S/S '12

This collection was absolutely perfect! Every piece is swooningly beautiful. I'm so excited for Comme des Garçons to show in Paris this year! That along with Raf Simons, Yohji Yamamoto, Dries Van Noten, Ann Demeuleemester, Dior Homme, and Lanvin. I don't think I can contain my excitement any longer. Can't wait!

Riccardo Has An Editing Problem: Givenchy Pre-Fall

I'm not too sure if I like this collection or not, but I am sure of one thing: Riccardo Tisci has an editing problem. This collection is comprised of equal hits as there are misses. Many pieces are wonderfully tailored, but others (chiffon dresses, thigh shorts) lack in execution to their counterparts. For one thing, the Rick Owen boots don't do the collection any justice. And secondly, isn't this a little bit reminiscent of Balenciaga's F/W 2011 collection? There are stellar pieces, however: the knitwears and the dexterously constructed coats (these will sell like crazy). Many of these looks would be better had they been styled differently, or rather, less: simplicity is key. Is it just me or is Givenchy's HC so much stronger than its RTW lately?
